Today I found two great posts via twitter that I wanted to share. The first was a dresser that was converted into a kitchen island. If you look at it, you can’t even tell it was a dresser, at least I couldn’t. I think it looks very cool and is an excellent example of how old items can be recycled and reused. This was posted by jakigh on twitter, who found it on Pinterest. It was originally posted by Small Place Style on Blogger. Here is a picture of the kitchen island.
The second post I found today was about making a Juice Pulp Patte out of the vegetable pulp that is leftover in the juicer. I normally through this stuff in the compost heap and thought this was an interesting (and tasty as it turned out) recipe. Just add avocado and some seasoning to turn your pulp into a tasty dip. Full recipe can be found on Meghan Telpner’s blog “Making Love in the Kitchen”
