Seeing the water running through the riverbed after so many years of drought is a bit breath taking. A few days ago, there was water all the way to the edge of the riverbed. Waiting a few days to grab the camera led to the following discovery, something I’ve never seen before.
It’s not as breathtaking as the photos in the first post but I thought it’d be important to share it. Maybe someone can come up with a solution and an awareness for proper trash disposal can be raised.
As you can tell, the trash is embedded into the riverbed’sĀ flora. This is caused by currents pulling trash downstream and is not the result of homeless encampments. They’d have to go through a lot of trouble and discomfort (cold and wet) to make this happen after a storm.
